Description

Georeferenced benthic observations from AUV video transects at Boriholmen collected in July 2025. The dataset contains video-derived annotations of taxa and habitat features, with counts, depth, seafloor type, coordinates, frame and image references, and related annotation metadata. Survey mapping was carried out by Aspecto on behalf of FishBase Group AS.

Method step description:

  1. Observations were generated from AUV survey mapping at Boriholmen using video imagery. Each row represents a video annotation linked to a transect, video, frame, and timestamp, with associated geographic coordinates, depth, and image-derived annotation geometry. Records include both individual and aggregation annotations, with count and occasional size information.
