Description
Rovbase er et forvaltningsverktøy som tar vare på informasjon som er viktig for forvaltning av bjørn, jerv, ulv, gaupe og kongeørn. Rovbasen oppdateres av fylkesmannen i respektive fylker, Statens naturoppsyn (SNO), og Norsk institutt for naturforskning (NINA), i henhold til Norges nasjonale overvåkingsprogram for rovvilt. Naturvårdsverket i Sverige samler data på samme arter og med samme metodikk, via respektive länsstyrelser i Sverige.
