Description
Counts of beetle species collected from 268 BioDivAbove sampling plots across Hurdal and surrounding municipalities in Southeast Norway. Each row is a plot with UTM coordinates, habitat code and numbers of individuals for 609 beetle species. The data come from window traps set in 2024.
Data Records
The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 17,782 records.
This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section. - Window traps (model IBL2) placed at 292 BioDivAbove plots. Traps installed 2024-05-28 to 2024-06-16, first emptied 2024-07-08 to 2024-07-13, second emptied 2024-08-05 to 2024-08-08. Specimens stored in ethanol and identified by Sindre Ligaard.
