Description

Marine observations annotated from AUV video and derived image frames collected at Kjølvika, Norway, in October 2025. The mapping was done by Aspecto for Organic Seafarm at one of their aquaculture sites. The dataset includes organism and habitat annotations linked to benthic transects, timestamps, coordinates, frame images, abundance/count data, and environmental context such as depth and seafloor type.

Data Records

The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 1,863 records.

Method step description:

  1. Human observation annotations from AUV video and derived image frames. The mapping and annotation work was carried out by Aspecto for Organic Seafarm at one of Organic Seafarm's aquaculture sites. Each row represents an annotation linked to a transect, video, frame, timestamp, image path, and georeferenced position, with taxon or class assignment, abundance/count information, image geometry, and environmental context such as depth, altitude, and seafloor type. Annotations were produced in Aspecto on behalf of Organic Seafarm.
