The samples were collected in April 2024, onboard the Helmer Hansen vessel, along the following stations, Isfjorden (ISK), Kongsfjorden (KB3), seep site outside Magdalenafjorden and Marginal Ice Zone (MIZ). The methods chosen to accomplish this work were benthic trawlling and Van Veen grabs. Following the students sorted and identified all the observed organisms to the lowest taxonomic level possible.
